Dietary Supervisor

Raintree Square is hiring a full-time Dietary Supervisor.  We are seeking an individual who is compassionate and patient, someone who wants to make a difference.  This individual will be part of a dietary team that strives to prepare healthy and well-balanced meals for our residents. Individual will be required to work 32+ hours weekly. Candidates will be prepared to complete the following tasks after training, including but not limited to:

  • Supervising/managing and directing the dietary department

  • Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and maintaining all kitchen duties

  • Coordinating dietary services and activities with other related departments

  • Developing, reviewing and planning normal and special diet menus (as needed) for residents

  • Ensuring proper storage of raw and leftover foods

  • Developing and planning work schedules for staff

  • Ordering any needed supplies

  • Supervising the preparation and serving of meals, while ensuring proper portions and special dietary requirements

  • Training and guiding staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures, cooking methods, etc…

  • Overseeing the completion of tasks

  • Reviewing the weekly menu and conducting inventory, ensuring that the appropriate product is ordered

  • Adhering to security procedures to facilitate the safety of yourself and others, including making sure that all kitchen tools are sanitized and equipment are returned to their designated secure area

  • Maintaining excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards residents and co-workers

Support Service Staff

Raintree Square is looking to hire a part-time Support Service staff member. We are seeking an individual who is compassionate, patient, and reliable... someone who wants to make a difference. This individual will be part of a support team that strives to ensure a safe and happy environment for our residents. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Obtaining and recording temperatures

  • Taking blood pressures

  • Conducting wellness checks

  • Providing medication reminders

  • Recording any activity and observations in the daily log book, and reporting them to the supervisor when necessary

  • Assisting with baths/showers

  • Observing and reporting any changes in resident's health status.

  • Providing assistance with “Aging in Place” care (ex: assistance to/from activities, assistance with daily needs, etc)

  • Reporting to the supervisor immediately when observing any unusual or significantly challenging behaviors

  • Being ready and able to follow emergency procedures during a crisis
